I'm new to the Goodall Family having recently received an MSC 2766 for my birthday. This beautiful guitar is used and I'd like to find out the date of construction. Anyone know how to date a Goodall Guitar? (Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke....) Anyway, I can't keep my hands off this Maple Miracle. Sadly, my Martins are very jealous.

Hi Goodalls!
James I don't know if you remember me, I contacted you a couple of years ago about a Goodall recommendation... I finally last year bought a concert jumbo cutaway. I mention that I lead worship at our local church; you mentioned that your guitars love to worship... that kind of stuck with me. I play my Goodall every day, I love it. I have the sound i love the neck (1 7/8 inch neck) its able to make room for my fat fingers. the spruce top seems to sound richer everyday. every one that hears it is astounded by the sound properties that come from my guitar...
i have (just) started recording some of my songs that i have written over the years. if you get a chance you can hear my guitar in there at the above web address.
Thank you for the quality!!!
blessings

I'll admit I didn't have the patience to wait out the delays you were experiencing recently and passed on the Koa/Engelmann GC that went to the Podium. But I instead purchased the Macassar Ebony/Engelmann Parlor that you completed in March of 2000. It was consigned at Elderly Instruments. It is by far the finest instrument I have owned and will be my performance instrument for probably whatever time I have left. And coming to me at 11 years of age, it was so mature and rich.....it's in near pristine condition. Magnificent craftsmanship! And as I have now played a number of Goodalls, I have to say that you guys are incredibly consistent.
